This article expounds to the point Karl Marx＇s analysis of modern China. Karl Marx, the great teacher of proletarian revolution, had been showing solicitude for the Orient and for China in all his revolution career. With the practice of China national liberation movement and with the materialist conception of history, he analyzed China politics, economy, social classes and society comprehensively and systematically so as to have initially revealed the social essence and orientation of development of modem China, which does make a profound, historical and significant contribution to today＇s reforming and opening China.
