In the paper, architecture of OPC and intelligent instruments used are introduced, the structure of OPC DA Server is discussed, The focus of this paper is development process of server system software, including realization of MODBUS-RTU by API function, exploitation of OPC DA Server and OPC Client application. OPC DA system has been organized, and access of intelligent instruments has been realized by network, the access data has been obtained successfully.
