Surveillance on Injury of Technical Personnel in Sichuan Province

目的探讨四川省专业技术人员伤害发生的流行特征,为制定防治对策提供科学依据。方法将2006-01-01/2008-12-31到监测医院就诊且被诊断为伤害的首诊患者作为调查对象进行调查,分析专业技术人员伤害发生的类型、特征和原因。结果调查从事专业技术人员伤害患者共计6016例,男女性别比为2.62:1,15岁以上年龄段均有伤害发生,伤害发生原因前三位依次为跌倒/坠落、车祸、钝器伤,城市和农村地区之间、不同性别之间伤害发生具有差异。结论四川省专业技术人员伤害与全人群伤害特点不同,应根据城市农村、不同性别开展预防控制。

Objective To survey the injury epidemiologic characteristics of technical personnel in Sichuan Province so as to provide scientific basis for establishing the strategy for injury prevention and control. Method Qingyang District of Chengdu City and Miyi County of Panzhihua City were selected as surveillance city and countryside sites. Data of 6 016 relevant injury cases hospitalized for the first time in sentinel hospitals from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008 were used for descriptive statistics. The characteristics and reasons of injury were analyzed. Result The ratio of male to female was 2. 62： 1 （4 353/1 663）. The injury occurred from 15 years old, but 67.24% （4 045/6 016） cases aged from 25 to 44 years old. The injuries from falls, traffic occidents and blust listed the first three reasons. Three were significant differences between urban and rural areas and between different genders with injuries. Conclusion The injury of technical personnel in Sichuan reveals different characteristics as compared with other studies in China. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt control strategies based on these characteristics.
