高分子专业英语教学改革与实践初探

Teaching Reforms and Practice on English for Special Purposes (ESP) of Polymer Material and Engineering

结合教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》文件和当前社会发展的需要,本文明确了专业英语的教学目标,从探讨目前高分子专业英语教学中存在的主要问题出发,通过激发学生学习兴趣、合理选择和安排教学内容、深入改革教学手段和方法等方面进行改革和实践,取得了较好的教学效果。

In order to meet the need of College English Curriculum Requirements from the Ministry of Education and current social development, teaching aims of ESP of polymer material and engineering are specified in the paper. The problems encountered during ESP teaching are raised and reforms and practice are carried out in terms of arousing students＇ interests, selecting and arranging proper teaching contents and improving teaching methods. Good effects had been achieved through the practice.
