高校重点学科建设是实现高教强省的标志和关键,江苏高校国家重点学科建设存在着总量位居全国前列、重点学科区域分布过于集中、重点学科布局众多盲区三大特点。因此,为促进高教强省战略的有效实施,必须以国家重点学科建设的目的为切入口:以高水平大学建设为着力点提高重点学科总量、扶持与经济社会密切相关学科优化布局、引导高校联盟集聚资源填补学科空白点、高校要以学科建设为龙头提高学校竞争实力。

In order to reinforce the national key disciplines＇ construction of high education in Jiangsu and to accelerate the efficient implementing of building a province strong for its higher education.
