Cultural Interpretation of Christian Churches in Yunnan Minority Areas

Christian churches in Yunnan minority areas express ideal concept, reflect the identities and changes of social history, this paper explains the social and cultural significance by using theory of hermeneutics. From the different natural concept, environmental concept and architectural forms, to interpret the collision and fusion between the foreign Christian culture and local culture.It points out that the essential of this multi-cultural development is a fusion of world and values view, the ways of thinking and behavior. The core concept of multi-cultural is to address cultural differences, respect for the value of each culture, emphasize the relativity and complementary to each other.
