The fifth APEC leaders’ informal meetiso ended in Noveomber 1997, has made new advancemnts in the following asPects: trade and investment liberallzation, econondc and technological corporation, the achievement of financial common sense, and the new courtry member’s acceptence. For China, the whole Policy selection is to stay at the height of facing the 21st global economy and Chinese economy.
