武汉火车站是一座运用全新理念设计的现代化综合交通枢纽。文章从城市副中心及站区规划、车站高架式立体空间布局、新型进出站流线模式、建筑形象与地域文化的契合、结构和节能环保技术的运用等方面,论述了车站建设与城市规划的相互作用以及车站建筑设计的突破与创新。
The Wuhan Railway Station is a modern integrated traffic hub designed with new ideas. The article elaborates on the interaction between station construction and urban planning, as well as innovative the design of station building in respects of the planning of urban sub-center and station area, the elevated space layout, the new pattern of in/out passenger flow, the correspondence of architectural appearance with local culture, and the application of structural and energy-saving technologies.
