面向21世纪的城市设计——法国波尔多新城市空间

URBAN DESIGN FOR 21^(st) CENTURY: NEW URBAN SPACE OF BORDEAX,FRANCE

波尔多是一座拥有独特文化遗产和特色的城市。面对时代的发展,这座独特的整体城市,一方面需要不断更新城市功能,适应新的生活模式,另一方面需要保护城市特殊的文化与历史价值。文章通过"轻轨——城市公共空间的回归"、"河岸——城市公共空间的重塑"、"广场——城市公共空间的生态植入"、和"市场——城市公共空间的使用"4个案例诠释了波尔多在平衡城市的更新、保护与发展方面,以及在传统城市中植入现代城市生活方面的经验,值得我们借鉴。

Bordeaux is a special city with renowned cultural heritage and characteristic. In face of the urban development, on the one hand, continuously renovating Bordeaux＇s urban function was needed in order to adapt itself to new modern life; on the other hand, conserving its special cultural and historical value was required as well. Through four case studies including ＂Tramway -retrieving urban public space＂, ＂Riverfront-remolding urban public space ＂, ＂Square -putting ecological element into urban public space ＂, and ＂Market using of urban public space ＂, this paper interpreted the experience of Bordeaux in balancing the urban renovation, conservation and development, at the same time the experience in how to put contemporary urban life into a traditional city. We may take valuable experience from the practices of Bordeaux nowadays.
