Induced pluripotent stem cells （iPSc） are a type of pluripotent stem cells artificially derived from an adult somatic cells, by inducing a forced expression of certain genes. They can easily be generated, proliferate unlimited while maintaining the capacity of muhilineage differentiation. We presented a review here about the methods of generating iPSc, application prospects and the outlook of applications in the field of liver diseases.
