沙头街位于番禺区的西北部,地处番禺区北部经济核心,居住用地分布零乱,工业用地与居住用地混合交错,公共服务设施缺乏。沙头街的旧村改造要点包括道路交通改造、住宅建筑改造、市政设施改造、环境绿化及景观改造、公共设施改造。新村建设要点包括定位与选址、交通网络规划、市政设施规划、街巷及住宅规划。

Shatou Street is located in the center of northwest Panyu district. Current conditions include an inappropriate mix of land uses and high demand for public services. Old village renovation in the area considers transportation, residences, infrastructure, landscaping, and public facilities. New village construction focuses on site selection, an effective transportation network, infrastructure, and neighborhood planning.
