The USD 748m （RMB 5110m） STEP project, which will make Mondi Syktyvkar self-sufficient in pulp and increase output of paper and board to 920 000 tpy, is on schedule for completion in mid 2010. It will equip the Russian pulp mill with the Best Available Technology - from suppliers like Andritz, Enviroburner and Metso - and will raise economic and environmental performance to world standards.
