In the western experience, gender relations in society embody conflict and confrontation. However, in China the conflict between a man and a woman existed in a long term but the tolerance and interaction can not be ignored. The publication of Painting History of Yutai, which TANG Shuyu, the woman historian of Qing Dynasty, wrote on women artists, had much to do with the support of her husband and with collection of books of the four generations of Wang's family. This shows that artistic creation has nothing to do sex and outstanding cultural and artistic work is created by both men and women with the advantages of them.
