大学英语阅读教学理论主要包括两种：自上而下，自下而上。主题式教学模式融合了两种理论的优势，有利于培养阅读兴趣，提高阅读能力。
Coliege teaching theories about English reading include two kinds： top-down and bottom-up. Themetic education integrates the advantages of both kinds, which will help boost interest and reading capability.
