Research on the Contribution of FDI to Western Economy

在改革开放以来，我国利用FDI数量快速增长，在经济发展中起到了至关重要的作用，也成为导致我国区域经济发展不均衡的主要原因之一，如何利用好西部地区的资源优势，吸引FDI流向西部地区成为亟待思考的问题。本文以FDI对中国区域经济发展的影响及其对西部经济贡献示为研究对象。利用SWOT分析模型剖析了西部地区吸引FDI的优劣势、机遇和挑战，并给出了西部地区进一步吸引FDI发展经济的战略选择和政策建议。

Since the reform and opening, the rapid growth of FDI has played a crucial role in economic development,and,on the other hand, also led to the imbalaneed regional economic development. How to make the best use of the western resources and direct FDI flowing to western regions has become a pressing problem to be thought over. The paper studies the influence of FDI on regional economic development in China and its contribution to western economy. The advantages and disadvantages of western regions atracting FDI are analyzed by using SWOT analysis model. Furthermore, the paper offers the strategic choices and policy suggestions on how to atract more FD1.
