In 50-year writing career, firmly searching for meaning of life and deeply realizing the lyric essence of poetry, ZHANG Mo became an everlasting singer. After returning to national tradition from modernism, ZHANG Mo cordially praised traditional culture in his poetry. Controlling traditional image by modem consciousness, he infused new connotations into traditional image. With the new structure and the new form, he constructed his poems with poetic atmosphere which is rich in national affinity.
