An Analysis of the Status Quo and Historical Comparison of the Contemporary Cultural-Philosophical Studies of China

当代中国文化哲学研究兴起于1980年代上期,二十余年来取得了诸多成绩。其研究特点是:试图重新定义文化与文化哲学,关心当代世界文化的发展及文化哲学的使命,注重阐发马克思主义文化观。但是,与1930年代的文化哲学研究相比,当今学界的研究并未向前走出多远,还有很多难题需要解决,例如对文化和文化哲学的定义仍需要推敲,文化定义中的解释悖论有待克服,对文化哲学与文化社会学的关联需深入研究,对文化与文明的联系与区别也需深入研究,等等。

In contemporary China, the cultural-philosophy study has been rising since the mid 1980's, and has made some achievements in past 20 years. The characteristics of the study is to try to redefine culture and cultural-philosophy, show concern to the development of contemporary world culture and the mission of cultural-philosophy, pay attention to the explanation of Marxist view of culture. In com - parison with the level of cultural-philosophy study in 1930's, the present study has not got too much progress. It has to face a lot of hard nut to cracks, for example, it still need to be weighed with the definition of culture and cultural-philosophy. In this way, it is able to explain the paradox in the definition of culture and undertake a thorough research to the culture by relating culture study to cultural-philosophy and cultural sociology. It also requires a thorough research to the connections and differentiations between the culture and the civilization.
