我国农民工问题的现状与发展趋势

The Status Quo and the Developmental Tendency of the Farmer-Workers of China

本文回顾了我国农民工形态的历史演变,阐述了改革开放以来农民工对我国现代化事业作出的重大贡献,分析了目前农村富余劳动力转移和流动的特点以及农民工作为弱势群体面临的一些突出问题,指出我国农民工发展的趋势,并阐明影响农民工市民化的主要因素有工业化、城市化、农业现代化、制度创新、城乡差距和工农差距等。

This paper has reviewed the historical evolution of the patterns of farmer-workers of China; discussed great contributions that farmer-workers had done to the course of modernization of China since the reform and opening-up; analyzed the characteristics of the flows of rural surplus labor force at present, and some outstanding problems facing the farmer-workers as disadvantaged groups; pointed out that the developmental tendency of the farmer-workers of China; and clarified main factors that influence farmers becoming citizens, which are industrialization, urbanization, agriculture moderniza - tion, system innovation, rural-urban development divide, and the gap between the workers and peasants.
