高校图书馆为社会服务是社会发展的趋势,也是提升高校形象的捷径和促进自身健康发展的需要。广州大学图书馆与广州市政府有关部门合作共建广州市政务资讯厅,为高校图书馆信息服务社会化探索出了新道路,也为高校为地方服务与合作打开了新的思路。

It is an inevitable trend for social development that academic libraries tends to serve the society. Meanwhile, it also serves a shortcut to boost the image of universities and serves a need of promoting self- development. The Guangzhou Government Affairs Information Hall, the merge, co - built by Guangzhou University Library and the related government organs of Guangzhou Municipal Government, explores a new path for the socialization of information sen＇ice of academic libraries, and create a new path tor the service for and collaboration with the local institutions.
