This paper introduces professor Shen Yah-nan＇s therapeutic cases of treating nasopharyngeal cancer by TCM combined with radiotherapy. He found that signs of exuberant heat impairing yin and internal pathogenic toxin were the most popular syndrome after radiotherapy. He used nourishing yin,regenerating the body fluids ,clearing away heat and relieving toxin as a base of therapeutic methods, and also combined with other herbs in different times of radiotherapy to achieve obviously curative effects.
