摘要
性格是制约学习者选用外语学习策略的一个重要因素。但在调查的28种英语词汇记忆策略中,外向型和内向型中学生受试仅仅在使用其中4种策略时才具有显著差异。这也许说明性格对我国中学生选用英语词汇记忆策略的影响力相对较小。
This paper reports on a questionnaire investigation about the correlation between Chinese middle school students and their memory strategies for English vocabulary. The result shows that, between the extroverted and introverted subjects, significant differences exist only in 4 of the 28 English vocabulary memory strategies under investigation. Major reasons for this are perhaps that personality is not the sole factor affecting learners' choice of foreign language learning strategies, and that, compared with the other factors, it is comparatively less significant in affecting Chinese middle school students' choice of English vocabulary memory strategies.
