对中国语境下“重理轻文”命题的审思 被引量:8

Contemplation over the proposition of overemphasis on science and neglect of arts in the context of China

摘要 "重理轻文"是中西方共同具有的普遍的教育现象,但在中国语境下却有它更为突出的意义特征。在"重理轻文"的形式背后,实质是"重工轻理"、"重应用轻基础",是对实用与技术的追崇,而不是真正重视理科教育,形成的是一种重视工科、轻视理科、漠视文科的教育结构与局面。反思"重理轻文"现实的本质,对指导我国科学教育与人文教育的发展有着特别重要的意义。 Overemphasis on science and negl'ect of arts is a common educational phenom enon in the east and the west. However, there is the special significance in the context of China. Behind the form of overemphasis on science and neglect of arts, there' s the essence of overemphasis on technology and neglect of science, and overemphasis on application and neglect of theory. In fact, it is the worship of pragmatism and technology, instead of emphasizing the education of science. So it results in the educational status of overemphasis on technology, neglect of science, and disregard of arts. Thus, contemplating over the essence of overemphasis on science and neglect of arts is very important for the development of the education of science and arts in China.
