Renovation of Old Buildings in Urban Renewal——A Case Study of Old Building Renovation in Xiamen

对旧建筑进行合理的改造与再利用,是实现城市更新的重要方式。该文结合厦门市现状,通过分析厦门旧建筑改造的工程实例,探讨旧建筑改造更新的策略,以实现旧建筑的有机再生,促进城市的可持续发展。

Reasonable renovation and reuse of old buildings is an important method to realize the urban renewal. Through analyzing of old buildings＇ renovation projects and the practical situations in Xiamen, this paper discusses the means of renovation of old buildings to revive the old buildings and therefore promote the sustainable development of cities.
