摘要
我们从白色念珠菌SC5314中分离到两个逆转录转座子样元件Tcal-1和Tcal-2,它们的物理图谱非常相近,两者都能转录成6kb长的RNA,该转录产物的转录受温度调控,25℃条件下的转录产物多于37℃的,Tcal-1元件内侧部分序列或全部序列的缺失引起白色念珠菌形态的改变,这种形态发生的变化与URA3基因的表达有协同作用。
We have cloned two copies of retrotrans-poson-like elements Tcal-1 and Tcal-2(Transpo-son Candida albicans ) from Candida albicans strain SC5314. Comparing the restriction maps of the two genomic fragments, similar patterns were observed. The two composite elements were transcribed into an approximately unit
length 6kb RNA. The expression of this transcript was greatly increased when cells were grown at 25℃ versus 37℃. Deletion of the partial or complete intervening region of the Tcal-1 element causes the morphogenetic variation of the cells. The morphogenetic variation is in coop-eratin with the expression of the URA3 gene.
