“围”与“穿”——南京明城墙保护与相关城市交通发展的探讨

"Enclosure"and"Crossing Over":Analysis of Conservation of Nanjing City Wall and the Development of Relevant Urban Transportation

南京明城墙是全国重点文物保护单位,而它所围合的南京主城又是快速发展的城市。城市发展必然带来城内交通与城外交通的关联,因此南京明城墙的"围"与交通的"穿"所构成的矛盾,遂成为影响城墙历史信息完整性传承和真实性表达的突出问题。文章以南京城墙与交通发展的历史演变为背景,以当今问题为对象,以与此相关的保护宪章为切入点进行探讨,旨在促进以南京为代表的古代城墙保护与城市交通的协调发展。

Nanjing City Wall of the Ming Dynasty is a nation-wide key cultural relics conservation unit and Nanjing is a rapidly developing city enclosed by it. Urban development inevitably leads to the connection of transportation between the city inside and outside. Thus the contradiction caused by ＂enclosure＂ of city wall and ＂crossing over＂ by transportation results a noticeable problem, which affects banding down the historic information with integrity and authenticity. This paper takes the problem as a main topic and the relevant charter about conservation as point to penetrate. It aims at the way to promote the protection of ancient city wall like Nanjing＇s and to coordinate the development of urban transportation with the background of historic evolution of Nanjing City Wall.
