2009年是我国著名教育史学家滕大春先生的百年诞辰。作为新时期外国教育史学科的主要奠基人之一,滕先生将毕生精力奉献于教育学科的建设和发展之中,在外国教育史学科体系建设、美国教育史研究、卢梭和杜威等外国教育家思想研究、比较教育研究领域作出了重要贡献,为后人留下了数量众多且影响深远的经典著作和学术成果。滕先生的学者风范和人格魅力,值得后人铭记。

The year of 2009 is the centenary of birth of Mr.Teng Dachun.As one of the major founders of the subject of Educational History of Foreign Countries in the New Era,Mr.Teng completely devoted his whole life to the development of the education science.He made a very important contribution to the construction of the History of Education,the study of American educational history,the study of the educational thoughts of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and John Dewey,and the study of Comparative Education.Mr.Teng left behind a great deal of academic achievements.All in one,Mr.Teng is a man worthy of great respect.
