摘要
为显著增加全球移动通信系统(GSM)的网络容量,提出一种基于低相关度训练序列设计(TSC)和最小频移键控正交用户对(MSK-OP)的多用户同时隙复用(MUROS)技术.GSM现网将一个时隙资源只分配给一个用户使用,而MUROS技术将一个时隙分配给两个或更多用户同时使用,显著提高GSM系统的语音容量.理论分析和仿真验证表明,基于TSC和MSK-OP的MUROS技术在不改变现网终端接收机结构的前提下,以可接受的性能损失为代价,极大地提高GSM系统的语音容量.
To improve the capacity of global system for mobile communications(GSM) network, a multi-user reusing one slot (MUROS) solution is given based on the proposed MSK-based orthogonal pair (MSK-OP) scheme and low correlated training sequence codes (TSC) design principles. One user occupies a time slot to transmit its burst in current GSM network, while MUROS allows two or more user to coexist in the same slot simultaneously. Theoretical analysis and simulation results showed that MUROS can improve the capacity significantly without degrading the speech quality very much or changing the hardware structures of transmitter or receiver.
