摘要
3G网络容量及覆盖是衡量一个系统性能的关键因素,由于CDMA系统的特点,决定了在设定工程参数和无线资源参数时就要考虑容量及覆盖的平衡关系。对混合业务环境下3G网络容量的受限情况进行了分析。讨论了CDMA系统的容量特性,介绍了3G三个技术标准的容量差别,特别对混合业务容量和极限容量等制约覆盖的内容进行了阐述,给出了容量及覆盖综合规划方法的举例。论文可为3G网络的规划提供一定参考。
3G network capacity and coverage is a key factor in the measurement of system performance. Due to the characteristics of CDMAsystems, it is necessary to consider the balance of capacity and coverage in setting up the engineering parameters and radio resource parameters. In this paper, the situation of limited 3G network capacity in a mixed services environment is analyzed, the capacity characteristics of CDMA system are discussed, and the capacity differences of three technical standards for 3G are described, particularly the constraint on coverage by the mixed service capacity and extreme capacity, and some examples of integrated planning methods for capacity and coverage are also given. This paper could provide some reference for the planning of the 3G network.
