Because of the complexity of the design process in small-batch production, it discusses the applications of reconfigurable modular design method in such products and the concrete process of modular design, using XML to establish product design information model which can achieve inter-enterprise information sharing, It has great significance to accelerate the research and development of products and to improve market competitiveness of enterprises of the small batch production.
