综述了SSR标记的特点和分布及其在遗传图谱构建和基因定位、分子标记辅助选择、种质资源保存和利用、遗传多样性分析、杂种优势遗传基础和预测、品种鉴定等方面的应用,并对SSR标记技术在水稻遗传育种研究中的应用前景进行了展望。

Tbe characteristics and distribution of SSR markers, and their application in the aspects of genetic map construction, gene mapping, maker-assisted selection, germplasm resources preservation, evaluation and utilization, genetic diversity analysis,genetic basis and prediction of hybrid heterosis, variety identification and so on were reviewed. And the application prospect of SSR marker technology in the genetic and breeding research of rice was also discussed.
