Experimental Study on the Germination of Pyracantha forluneana Seeds

摘要 [目的]寻求促进火棘种子发芽的最佳方法,为火棘实生苗的快速繁育提供依据。[方法]以采自西安市某绿化带的火棘种子为试验材料,先用不同浓度的硫酸分别浸种20和30 min进行酸蚀处理,再进行温汤浸种(30℃)处理,然后用不同浓度的赤霉素(0、5、10、15 mg/L)分别处理10 min,研究不同处理对火棘种子发芽的影响。[结果]30℃温汤处理1h后直接用15mg/L的赤霉素处理10 min,火棘种子发芽势和发芽率分别高达98.3%和98.7%,且随着赤霉素浓度的降低,其发芽势和发芽率也随之减小;用45%浓硫酸浸种30min、温汤浸种1h后,5mg/L的赤霉素处理10min后发芽势和发芽率分别为93.3%和98.7%。[结论]45%浓硫酸浸种30min、温汤处理1h,再用5mg/L赤霉素浸泡10min的处理所获得的种子最易发芽,发芽率最高,是促进火棘种子发芽的最佳处理方法。 [ Objective ] The study aimed to seek for the optimum method of promoting the germination of Pyracantha forluneana seeds so as to provide the basis for rapid propagation of P. forluneana seedlings. [ Method ] With P. forluneana seeds selected from some green belt in Xi' an City as the tested meterials, they were first made for acid etching treatment through soaking by H2SO4 with different concn, for 20 and 30 min resp. and then made for soaking seed treatment in hot water at 30 ℃, and finally treated by GA3 at 0, 5, 10, 15 mg/L for 10 min to study the effects of different treatments on the germination of P. forluneana seed. [ Result] The germination energy and rate of P. forluneana seeds were as highest as 98.3% and 98.7% resp. when the seeds were treated directly with 15 mg/L GA3 for 10 rain after soaking seeds by hot water for 1 h and they were decreased along with the reduction of GA3 concn. The germination energy and rate of P. forluneuna seeds were 93.3% and 98.7% resp. when the seeds were soaked with 45% H2SO4 for 30 min, treated by hot water for I h and then soaked with 5 mg/L GA3 for 10 min. [ Conclusion] The treatment of soaking seeds with 45% H2SO4 for 30 min, treating by hot water for 1 h and then soaking with 5 mg/L GA3 for 10 rain could make the seeds easy to germinate and obtained highest germination rate, which was the optimum treating method of promoting germination of P. forluneana seeds.
