This paper provides the profiles of the major attributes of a successful cobia culture operation in deep-water sea cage.Some practices critical to the success and profitability of cobia culture which include screening healthy fingerlings,selecting appropriate culture site,constructing reliable cage nets,feeding economically and ecologically,preventing disease occurrence,and deciding the harvest tim-ing are examined.Suggestions to the management of cobia deep-water cage culture are also made.
