简述农业遥感的兴起，以国内外的实例说明遥感技术的优势。介绍了遥感技术在农业资源调查及监测、生物量估测、灾害预报等方面的应用情况。回顾农业遥感已取得的成就并分析其效益，说明遥感技术在农业生产的组织和管理中占有重要的地位，提出在科技兴农中发展农业遥感的战略意见。

This paper briefed the development of agricultural remote sensing in china and the superiorty of remote sensing technology with examples at home and abroad. The applications to agricultural resource surveying and monitoring, living amount estimating, and disaster forecasting were indroduced. The achievements and benefit of agricultural remote sensing, and its important position in organization and management of agricultural production were analyzed. The author proposed some strategies for developing agricultural remote sensing in China.
