The key problem for making the courseware of ＂Computer Network＂ is to draw a great deal of network diagrams. This paper introduces the method for application of Microsoft Visio 2003 in drawing a basic network diagram. The network diagram drawn with this drawing method is very standard and beautiful, and the method is easy to learn and easy to use. It is proved in practice that Visio 2003 can not only conveniently draw network diagrams, but also can conveniently draw sketches, such as flow charts and circuit board diagrams. Therefore, it is the most ideal drawing tool for the people engaged in computer network teaching, program design course teaching, electronics course teaching.
