The International Case Study on the Information Demand of the Visually Impaired People

公共图书馆面向视障用户的多元化服务兴起于20世纪末。目前,各国面向视障用户的服务项目以视障用户的信息无障碍获取为出发点,并取得了较为蓬勃的发展。从范围、方法、成果等方面对不同国家的相关研究实例整合分析,我国需采取面向视障用户的图书馆以及相关机构的服务运作模式,从而为我国的信息无障碍建设提供研究经验,为推动我国信息无障碍支持体系的建设打下基础。

The pluralistic services of public libraries for the visually impaired people began from later 20th century. Now, for the user accessing information, many countries develop service projects for the visually impaired people. Based on the analysis of the scope, methods, results of the international case study, China should take the service operating models that libraries and related institutions provide services for the visually impaired people, so as to provide the excellent research experience for promoting the construction of the information access system in China.
