Optimization of ODMRP and Simulation

ODMRP协议是无线自组网环境下的一种按需式组播路由协议。为了进一步提高该基于网格的协议在组大小不同时的效能,提出了一种对该协议的优化方案。该方案基于可变核心概念。原协议和优化方案的仿真算法在仿真工具GloMo-Sim中实现,同时结果显示该算法比原协议在包分发率和协议效能等性能有很多改善等等。所以,该优化方案能更加适用无线自组网。

ODMRP protocol is an on-demand multicast routing protocol in Ad hoc network. In order to improve the performance of it for Groups of different sizes, an optimized Ad Hoc multicast routing protocol is proposed, which is based on the concept of variable core. Two protocols are simulated in GloMoSim, and results show that the optimzed protocol has improvement to such performandce as distributing rate of the data and network validity, etc. So the optimization works efficiently, which is more suited for ad hoc network.
