There are quite a number of clinical departments vulnerable in research in those large general hospitals engaged in a great deal of clinical practice. To enhance research in these departments and promote sustained development in their relevant disciplines, a correct understanding of the relationship between clinical practice and research, analyzing and summarizing characteristics of clinical practice, considering the unbalanced development and clarifying the direction of future development in the relevant academic disciplines, establishing orderly and efficient research teams and formulating productive plan for the discipline development, will all subject these departments onto the track of healthy development, which is meanwhile one of the keys to upgrade the comprehensive strength of research of the whole hospital.
