Based on an analysis of the 8 abilities of library book suppliers, the author pointed out that college and university libraries should cooperate with those library book suppliers with high credibility, standard professional activity, excellent service and a certain business scale by evaluating their comprehensive ability in order to extend their book selection scope and to maintain their scientific, systematic and continuous library holdings.
