逆转录病毒感染与类风湿关节炎的相关性研究

STUDY ON RETROVIRAL INFECTION IN RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

目的：为了探讨逆转录病毒与类风湿关节炎（ＲＡ）发病的相关性。方法：采用细胞培养、免疫组织化学技术等对３３例ＲＡ患者的外周血样本进行人类嗜Ｔ淋巴细胞病毒Ⅰ型（ＨＴＬＶⅠ）相关抗原、逆转录酶（ＲＴ）活性测定及观察自发性合胞体形成。结果：７５８％（２５／３３）ＲＡ样本阳性表达ＨＴＬＶⅠ相关抗原，对照组为阴性（Ｐ＜０００１）；ＨＴＬＶⅠ相关抗原阳性标本同时表达ＲＴ活性，且两者之间存在相关性（Ｐ＜０００１）；３６４％（１２／３３）ＲＡ样本出现自发性合胞体形成，对照组无类似现象（Ｐ＜００１），且自发性合胞体形成与ＨＴＬＶⅠ相关抗原表达联系密切（Ｐ＜００５）。

Objective:To investigate the possible relationship between retrovirus and rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods:Using cell culture and immunohistochemical techniques,the peripheral blood specimens from 33 RA patients were designed to test the human T cell lymphotropic virus type Ⅰ (HTLV Ⅰ) related antigens,reverse transcriptase (RT) and spontaneous syncytium formation.Results:HTLV Ⅰ related antigens were detected in 75 8% (25/33) of RA specimens,but none in that of 20 healthy donors ( P <0 001).The RT activity was correlated well with expression levels of HTLV Ⅰ related antigens in RA specimens ( P <0 001).The spontaneous syncytia were observed in 36 4% (12/33) of RA specimens,but none in healthy specimens ( P <0 01).There was good correlation between the syncytium formation and HTLV Ⅰ related antigen expression ( P <0 05).Conclusion:retrovirus may be etiologically associated with RA.
