Academic deviation from the norm refers to the fact that some group or individual deviates from the accepted academic norm for self-interests under the specific academic system environment. It occurs as a result of negative social environment, displaying the social corruption and directly reflecting academic system＇s malpractice as well as scholars＇ degradation in self-discipline. This deviation and its disadvantage should be paid enough attention to. As for academic periodical editors, they should cut the source of deviation by putting emphasis on professional ethics, pursuing social benefit, following the principles of ＂openness, justice and fairness＂and trying to prevent the cagmag articles from being published.
