The Selective Oxidation of Chromic Acid Derivatives

铬酸的氧化性很强,可以氧化多种基因,可以将伯醇氧化为相应的酸。铬酸衍生物氧化作用比较缓和,只能有选择地氧化某些基团,可以将伯醇氧化为相应的醛,对于其它可氧化基因不进行反应。因此,可以利用它们进行选择性氧化。

The oxidisablity of chromic acid is very strong, so chromic acid can oxidize many sorts of groups. It can oxidize primary alcohol into corresponding acid. As the oxidisabhty of chromic acid derivatives is weaker than chromic acid, the derivertives can oxidize some groups selectively, for example, oxidizing primary alcohol into corresponding aldehyde. Threrfore, the derivertives can be used to oxidize selective-
