The constructing of a harmonious relationship between the police and the public has a global significance in the present public security work. With the construction of a harmonious society becoming an apparent spiritual essence of the age, the constructing of a harmonious relationship between the police and the public has not only a possibility in historical logic, but plays a role of fundamental significance and practical needs in social relation improving, contradictions resolving, harmony promoting as well as social fairness and justice maintaining.
