Abstract Using the consumer choice theory, the author has made some micro-analysis on the relation between asocial and commercial old-age insurance in our country from the recent vertical and horizontal aspects, in order to reveal the micro-mechanism influenced between the two, which showed again from micro aspect that the relation between the two are not simply as if one falls and another rises, only if the pension of social old-age insurance were laid too much, that can squeeze commercial old-age insurance.
