Hospitalization Treatment Economic Costs of Depressive Disorders in Shenzhen City

目的:调查测算抑郁障碍患者每年住院治疗的直接和间接经济成本,估算深圳市抑郁障碍年住院治疗经济成本总量。方法:对2005年1月至2008年11月间住院治疗的抑郁障碍患者进行住院经济成本信息采集,计算抑郁障碍的年度住院治疗经济成本。结果:共有325例抑郁障碍住院患者入组,平均每例每年住院31.1天,年例均住院直接成本平均为9468元,年例均住院间接成本平均为3546元,年例均住院治疗总成本平均为13683元,深圳市抑郁障碍患者住院治疗每年的住院治疗经济成本总量为3224万元。结论:深圳市抑郁障碍的住院治疗经济成本巨大。

Objective： To investigate the hospitalization treatment economic costs of depression disorders per year, to calculate its direct and indirect costs, and to estimate the total amount in Shenzhen. Methods： The data was collected about the treatment economic costs on depression inpatients between January 2005 and November 2008, which was used to calculate the hospitalization treatment economic costs of depression inpatients every year in Shenzhen. Results： There were 325 patients brought into the study. The average hospitalization days per year were 31.1 days. The average direct hospitalization treatment economic cost of every case per year was 9486 RMB and the average indirect cost was 3546 RMB. There was about 13683 RMB being spent on the depression hospitalization treatment each case each year. The total amount of hospitalization treatment economic costs of depression every year in Shenzhen were about 32. 24 millions RMB. Conclusion： The hospitalization treatment economic costs of depression disorders in Shenzhen city is enormous.
