In the production of large size gear steel with narrow Hardenability from 390mm/510mm bloom in Xincheng Special Steel Company, accuracy control of chemical oompositions for gear steel and homogenization control for chemical oompositions were required so as to guarantee narrow hardenability requirement of products.
