The design targets and main Measures for improvement in design of model 6DL-20 diesel engine have been described.After improvement, the fuel consumption has been reduced,the performance at low load and the life of main parts have been improved,furthermore,the high viscosity heavy fuel can be used.Besides,the test results of first AN-Qing-DAIHATUS 6DL-20 diesel engine have also been shown.
