The following five measures of energy saving of fully utilizing by- product gas resources of Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. are described, replacement of coke oven gas, replacememt of heavy oil by gas, replacement of heavy oil by by- product tar, replacement of coal by gas and replacement of producer gas by by- product gas.
