The paper introduces several types of mainstream private network＇s frameworks.And analyses two kinds of private networks based on the transfer platform of VPN and SDH ,then in particular,compares of theirs merits and faults about the reliance of software and handware and the cost of realization, Finally, we recommend the framework of university＇s private network should choose the method which based on the transfer platform of SDH.
