Peer evolution plays an important part in English writing teaching. The research proves that peer evolution on English writing can provoke students to participate in writing activities. Based on the research, some possible factors, including the choiee of group members, emotions, time control and cultural backgrounds that may influence the effectiveness of peer evolution are also explored, which provides references for a better type of English writing teaching.
