从《三国演义》看历史小说虚构的得与失

Viewing the Fictive Gain and Loss of the Historical Novel from <The Romance of the Three Kingdoms>

《三国演义》是我国最杰出的长篇历史小说。作者在不违背历史基本事实的基础上,充分发挥想象力,大胆虚构,创造了许多栩栩如生的历史人物形象,取得了丰硕的艺术成果。但由于作者"拥刘反曹"的正统观念,人物描写不免失真,想象夸张亦显过分,致使作品中也有虚构得不够成功的地方。

〈 The Romance of the Three Kingdoms 〉 is an outstanding long historical novel of China. Not violating the historical events, the author fully developed his imagination and boldly created many vivid historical figures, thus obtained rich artistic results. However,owing to the author＇ s traditional thought of ＇ supporting Liu and opposing Cao＇ ,the description of characters is unavoidably distortional and the imagination is also excessive,which make the novel have some unsucessful points.
